Whoso interveneth in a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whoso interveneth in an evil cause will bear the consequence thereof. Allah overseeth all things.
An Nisaa 4:85 connects “Whoso interveneth in a good cause will have the reward thereof” with accountability before Allah and the lasting weight of the Hereafter, inviting attentive reading rather than a hurried conclusion. Return to this ayah in salah or dua and ask what choice today you would want to meet again with a clear conscience before Allah.
This is a personal reflection prompt, not tafsir. For interpretation, consult qualified scholarship and the ayah’s wider Quranic context.
