Google and Apple sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, that provider gives AyahKind a stable account identifier and basic profile information such as your name, verified email address, and profile image when available. Apple may provide a private relay email address when you choose to hide your email. AyahKind uses this information only to create and secure your account, recognize you when you return, and personalize the service. AyahKind never receives your Google or Apple password.
Your preferences
AyahKind stores the Quran ayah themes you select, whether you enabled personal daily email, and the date the last personal email was sent. These settings are used to select a daily ayah for your dashboard and, only when enabled, your inbox.
Newsletter and email
Public newsletter subscriptions use double opt-in. Account holders enable or disable personal email from their account page. Every public newsletter includes an unsubscribe link; account emails can be stopped in account preferences.
Your ayah collection and local storage
Visitors without an account may add one ayah to their personal Quran in the browser’s private local storage. When you sign in, those ayah identifiers are connected to your AyahKind account so your Quran collection can follow you across devices. AyahKind also uses local storage to remember when a newsletter invitation was dismissed.
Service providers
AyahKind uses Google and Apple for optional identity services, Pinterest for sharing and discovery, and its hosting and email infrastructure to operate the website and deliver requested messages. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Retention, access, and deletion
Account and preference information is retained while your account is active. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. Requests are handled after identity verification.
