Ash Shura 42:36 draws attention to “that which Allah hath is better and more lasting for those who believe and put their…” and gives a concrete setting for reliance on Allah while still meeting the responsibilities placed before us. Sit with this ayah after prayer and consider where you can rely on Allah without neglecting the action that is yours.
