I think not that the Hour will ever come, and if indeed I am brought back unto my Lord I surely shall find better than this as a resort.

What did these words bring you?

Trust

Placing your trust in Allah.

Al Kahf 18:36 connects “if indeed I am brought back unto my Lord I surely shall find better than this…” with the danger of confidence that forgets accountability and dependence on Allah, inviting attentive reading rather than a hurried conclusion. Return to this ayah in salah or dua and ask where certainty about your own future needs humility before Allah.

This is a personal reflection prompt, not tafsir. For interpretation, consult qualified scholarship and the ayah’s wider Quranic context.
