I shall withdraw from you and that unto which ye pray beside Allah, and I shall pray unto my Lord. It may be that, in prayer unto my Lord, I shall not be unblest.
Maryam 19:48 draws attention to “in prayer unto my Lord” and gives a concrete setting for worship that turns need, gratitude, and attention toward Allah. Sit with this ayah after prayer and consider what you need to bring honestly into salah and dua.
