Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back.
Ghafir 40:77 draws attention to “have patience” and gives a concrete setting for patient steadfastness when obedience or hardship requires endurance. Sit with this ayah after prayer and consider what faithful act deserves steadiness instead of haste.
